    Hey Emily,

What mineral makeup would you recommend? I have oily problem skin and am interested in trying mineral makeup (I currently use Almay Clear Complexion liquid foundation). If you can suggest any brands I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!

I made sure i invested in a really good brush set, so it’s all i use on my face. Any other brushes i automatically throw them away first thing. Never trust ANY brush that comes with the make up, my experience, they are just there for looks. Just like some blush brushes are:)

    I liked this makeup …
I liked this makeup. It lasted on my face…I have oily skin but this kept me from looking oily all day. The brush is tiny, but it hasn’t perturbed me from using the product. L’oreal is my fav. Maybelline’s gave me huge zits by the time I was at the end of the usage! Rimmel’s has the most ridiculous applicator! It has fabric over the shaker that I guess you are supposed to use to rub the product on? idk. Plus they have a narrow color range—very orangy.

Was definitely not a fan of this product either!! (and I love all their other ones too!!) Emily, could you let us know what winter moisturizer you use–I know you posted a video awhile back on winter moisturizers but both of the ones you recommended are discontinued (I was in love with the Nivea one!). Thanks for all your helpful vlogs :) Happy Holidays!

i really cannot get the hang of mineral makeups, they make me look powerdery and i don’t like that look.

that rimmel 16hr foundation absolutely does work! i used to use it, their mousse 16hr foundation works amazingly, too!

emily you probably know this but you can return used makeup. many stores get a credit back from the manufacturer. i’ve done this at Target and Rite Aid and I hear Walgreens has the same policy.

I agree with you on the application. I also noticed after a few hours it looked green on my skin. I like other Revlon Colorstay products and had higher expectations for this mineral makeup.

Thanks for the review. I wanted to tra a revlon founation too, but I couldn’t stand the smell…

Just one correction: Every mineral makeup does have SPF, as long as there is Titanium Dioxide in it. Which is one of the main incredients in MMU. They just are not allowed to write it on their products as long as the haven’t done a very costy “official” test.
